Local history museum and Kniepass fortress:
In Unken and Lofer there are two local history museums. The Kniepass fortress also contains a museum. This fortress between Unken and Reith was built during the 30 years war and extended during the Napoleonic wars.

A small part of the deepest cave in the world has been opened to walkers.
We recommend that you bring something warm to wear as the cave is cold. The driving time to the cave is approximately 20 minutes in the direction of Saalfelden. . Seisenbergklamm: The entrance to the gorge is situated directly in Weißbach. Driving time ca 25 minutes in the Saalfelden direction. Vorderkaserklamm: A beautiful natural bathing area as well as a gorge situated in a side valley of the Saalach, between St. Martin and Weißbach. Driving time ca 20 minutes in the Saalfelden direction,
Other gorges: Aschauklamm, Innersbachklamm, Weißbachschlucht
A beautifully situated hanging valley above St. Martin, at the foot of the Loferer Steinberge.
In this hidden-away valley, you will find a picturesque pilgrimage church, also known as the Pinzgauer Cathedral. Thousands of pilgrims each year make their way to this much loved valley and church.
